MH Mayor Delivers State of the City
Morgan Hill Mayor Mark Turner delivered his " State of the City Address” to a packed house at the Granada Theater on March 12. Turner emphasized the importance of unity over division, and cooperation over " fearmongering " to make Morgan Hill better for all residents. He praised many citizens for their contributions and laid out bold plans for the future including driving more economic activity and revenues through sports tourism, new business development and the City ' s " Healthy Morgan Hill " initiative.
Habits Host Fiesta Dinner to Support One Giving Tree
Local community champions Addie and Ron Habit hosted a small group of friends at their home for a“ Fiesta Dinner with Mike & Deb” Addie won the“ Fiesta” at One Giving Tree ' s Annual fundraiser held in September 2024. Guests enjoyed ceviche, posole, tacos Dorado, rice and beans. Dessert was an amazing flan, prepared by Deb, who masterfully prepared every dish from scratch using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
