Operation Freedom Paws:

Annual Crab Feed a Huge Success! by Gilroy • Morgan Hill TODAY

It was a full house and sold-out event at the Operation Freedom Paws( OFP) Annual Crab Feed on Saturday, February 8 at Old City Hall Restaurant in Gilroy. Attendees dined on Dungeness crab, chicken cordon bleu, and vegetarian polenta. It was an evening of delicious food, fun, and community, with all funds raised helping to fund life-saving service dog teams.

Guests enjoyed a silent auction, drawings, and wine pull, and soaked in the fun of OFP’ s seafaring-themed night. It was an incredible evening of impact, community, and— of course— delicious crab. Old City Hall Restaurant once again played host for the event and did a fantastic job.
OFP Founder and Executive Director, Mary Cortani, shared the mission and importance of the work the organization does with all in attendance. Special guest speaker and veteran client Saagar courageously spoke about how the program has positively impacted his life, moving everyone in the room.
Cortani shared that the funds raised at the event will help reignite hope and give our veterans— who have sacrificed so much for all of us— the tools to reclaim their futures. Operation Freedom Paws thanks everyone who came out in support of this noble cause, and for being a part of the OFP community and this life-changing mission.
