During our recent day trip to San Juan Bautista, we visited the Mission courtyard. It is a timeless space with a rustic and simple elegance. Adorned with flowers in full bloom, mature trees and old-world artifacts, this hallowed space reminds us of those who ' ve come before us. Our ancestors gave of themselves in ways we can only imagine. Standing in the space they once stood reminds us there is beauty in real history, and beauty in community.
