FESTIVALS & STREET MUSIC
Recently a show at The District sparked some thoughts on the
local music scene in the Gilroy Morgan Hill area. The show
featured four local acts: Blue Sky Band, Mike Osborn, John
Garcia and Kaye Bohler. On the festival scene there are multiple stages with music of
every type at the Garlic Festival, the Mushroom Mardi Gras,
the Freedom Fest and the Taste of Morgan Hill. There is street
music with the Morgan Hill Chamber’s Friday Night Music
(June 5-August 28, 2016) and Gilroy Downtown Business
Association’s Fifth Street Live (June 17-August 5, 2016).
