CHOCOLATE & WINE FOR VALENTINE
A Welcome Lane consisting of community leaders welcomed some 200 attendees at this
year's annual February event held at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center. Inside,
the center was decorated for the occasion, complete with floral pieces provided by Kajiko
Nursery, tables were beaming with silent auction items, and food and wine tables bordered the
room. Some of Morgan Hill's best restaurants provided savory dishes and local wineries joined
some not so local wineries in providing an array of tasty sipping wines. This year's fundraiser
will purchase over $10,000 in school supplies that will be provided to Morgan Hill Unified
School Teachers in two "Give-a-ways” this March and later this fall.
Welcome Line: Brian Sullivan, Claudia Rossi, Ron Woolf, Kathy Sullivan, Greg Sellers, Steve
Tate, Jon Hatakeyama, Jona Denz-Hamilton, Steve Betano, Cecelia Ponzini, Supervisor Mike
Wasserman, Rosy Bergin, Rene Spring, and Donna Ruebusch.
