WINERIES OF SANTA CLARA VALLEY
SPRING PASSPORT MONTH
The Wineries of Santa Clara Valley are changing things up.
What used to be a Passport Weekend is now a Passport…
for the whole month of March. Celebrations began with a
kick-off event at Coyote Creek Golf Course on March 2nd.
Twenty-four wineries and fourteen restaurants participated.
The Passport entitled the bearer to four pours each at
over thirty wineries during the month of March. The pass-
ports were valid anytime the winery is open. The Passport
offered a month-long opportunity to visit some old and new
wineries, and sample some great local wines.
Some wineries had additional festivities during the
Passport — many wineries had some appetizers to go
with the tasting and some had music. In addition, many
local restaurants and businesses are offered Passport -
related discounts. For information about the Fall Passport,
