Morgan Hill home in 2009 and occupied it two
years later. The design of the house tapped into
many things they had seen in their travels, a few
unique ideas, and plenty of thought. They roughed
out the basic design of just about every room in the
home and presented it to their architect, Michael
Davis. The architect was then able to incorporate
their thoughts into the final plans. The home
has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a full
basement complete with an amazing wine cellar.
The main living area has four areas around the
comfortable open living room: the kitchen, the
dining room, the piano room and a bar/billiard
room. A large welcoming fireplace separates the
billiard bar area from the piano room.
One of the unique features is that each room
has different ceiling treatments. The living room
has large open trusses , while the dining room has
a vaulted fir plank design similar to one that Ginny
saw in Hawaii. The kitchen has elegant illuminated
stained glass. The woodwork throughout the home
varies: Cherry and mahogany for the cabinets,
