Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce and supporting sponsors are responsible for the organization, management and funding of the Friday Night Music Series( FNMS). The headlining bands are reviewed and hand-picked by Entertainment Director Rich Firato, whose son Nick Firato handles all sponsorships and contracts. FNMS offers onsite purchase of beer, wine, hotdogs, loaded baked potatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, kettle corn, and more! This is a family friendly and community centric event. Rich Firato encourages community members to invite a friend, bring a lawn chair, and dance the night away!

Price

FREE for anyone and everyone to attend. Kids love to run on the grass and drink fresh-squeezed lemonade; adults enjoy lounging in chairs on the grass, tapping a foot to the music; everyone likes to show off their newest dance moves on the dance floor when the main band takes the stage

At Morgan Hill ' s Downtown Amphitheatre, next to the Community and Cultural Center at the intersection of Monterey and Dunne Ave

Volunteers

Beer / Wine Pourers are ALL volunteers from local businesses and the community at large; the Chamber contracts with Silicon Valley Children’ s Fund, previously TeenForce, to provide local youth with an opportunity to gain hands-on event planning and management experience.

Food

The Kiwanis club provides multiple onsite dinner options and donates 100 % of the nightly proceeds to their scholarship program. New this year, the Morgan Hill Grange will offer onsite nachos and donate 100 % back into community scholarships. Warm Kettle Corn and Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade are prepared by local vendor Cal Coast Kettle Corn.

Beer / Wine

Beer cooler provided by Bottomley Distributing; ONLY local wines are poured, including Guglielmo, Martin Ranch, Fortino Winery, Morgan Hill Cellars and more. All beverages available for onsite CASH purchase with an ID-band.

Music

New this year, we are bringing back the tribute bands so you can enjoy the classics songs of Foreigner, Journey, Santana and STYX. Also, new this year, opening bands and local recording artists will grace the stage along with our traditional“ Emerging Artist Young Performers” courtesy of local music schools,“ Music in Motion,” and“ Music As Language.”

Vendors

Local businesses are encouraged to set up vendor booths during the nights of the series to use as a platform to connect with the community and bring visibility to their services / causes.

Attendance

We generally host approximately 1,500-2,000 attendees depending on the band, weather and date. People come from all over Silicon Valley and even as far north as Livermore to attend the concerts and support their favorite bands.
