made it at his sheet metal business in Morgan Hill, Arts Sheet Metal. Another is the garden that he built for Brenda, covered to keep the wildlife out. “He is so handy,” said Brenda. His favorite spot in the house is the outdoor/indoor patio area that has a fully stocked bar and opens out to their backyard pool. The whole family enjoys that there are no fences bordering the property. The house originally sat on a double lot with open space on the backside. With their recent purchase of the lot on the other side of the home, they have no immediate neighbors. Once you drive onto their property, you are transported to a secluded Mediterranean style get-a- way with open space all around. When strolling through the home, you can't help but notice the beautiful cabinetry throughout —from the TV closet in the family room to their kitchen table and breakfast nook that matches cabinets that were in the home when they purchased it—all of which they credit to Frank of LoNardo’s Woodworking by Design, in Gilroy. About the Chizanskos' Shawn is the oldest of seven. He was raised in Scotts Valley, then moved to San Jose where he attended Mt. Pleasant High School. He said that it was ” quite a culture shock” as they had lived a country, fairly hippie life- style, and then moved to an urban, city type environment.
