I cannot remember it rain- ing in September ever. A quick Google search challenged my memory. According to U.S.ClimateData.com, we have an average precipitation (rainfall) of .24 inches in September, and the last time it rained was in 2014. I bet you're glad I cleared that up. Many of you know the history of this publication; but for those who do not, let me give you a quick rundown. In 2006, Larry and I started a small, twelve-page, monthly magazine, called Gilroy Today. By 2013, Gilroy Today had grown to 64 pages and was published quarterly. In the summer of 2013, at the urging of some friends who lived in Morgan Hill, the first issue of Morgan Hill Today was released. It was also quarterly, with 64 pages. After publishing the two quarterly magazines (8 issues a year) for two years, we combined them and TODAY became the lifestyle magazine for the South Santa Clara Valley—published six times a year— every other month. Publishing a large magazine every other month has taken its toll on us, I'm afraid. Larry and I have had to have one of those "get real" discussions and find a way to continue publishing this magazine in a way that would be realistic for us. So, as of this issue, TODAY will be published quarterly. It will still have all the unique and fun content our readers have grown accustomed too. And it will still be distributed throughout the South Santa Clara Valley free of charge. We do ask that you, our readers, remember that advertiser dollars make this magazine possible. Please make note of who they are and remember them when you're in need of a service they offer or a product they produce.
