Meet South Valley Civic Theatre’s Limelight Team
Robin Bezanson
Limelight Managing Director
Robin is thrilled to carry on the tradition of quality
dinner theater entertainment that Kevin Heath
and Alan Obata began nine years ago. Robin
is a seasoned theater producer for South Valley
Civic Theatre (SVCT), has served on SVCT’s Board
of Directors, and has participated in dozens of
productions—working with costumes, props, set
design, house management and more—throughout
the years. Her focus for Limelight is to continue to
provide a relaxed atmosphere and entertaining shows
for both the ever-faithful patrons and new audiences.
By day Robin is an award-winning South County
Realtor with RE/MAX in Morgan Hill. Her hope
is that Limelight will continue to delight patrons for
many more years to come.

Peter has been involved in local theater for many
years as an actor and designer in productions
throughout the Bay Area (including at Limelight).
He is a leader within SVCT, having served on
the SVCT Board of Directors for many years,
including four years as President. Peter will act
as the Limelight liaison to the SVCT Board. He
has enjoyed Limelight productions for many years
and was dismayed to learn that Kevin and Alan
decided to end the operation. Peter led the effort
within SVCT to explore assuming management of
Limelight so as not to lose this source of wonderful
entertainment for our community. He is confi dent
that Limelight’s best years are yet to come.
Rock of Ages (Teen)
them well. In a world where so much
seems disposable and people are con-
stantly looking for ‘new’ and ‘latest and
greatest,’ nine successful years coupled
with the response to its closing are tes-
taments to Limelight’s uniqueness.
Kevin and Alan recently purchased a
“fixer-upper” in the Sierra foothills and
will be moving there to pursue a new
and exciting adventure. Alan, a licensed
realtor, will return periodically to serve
clients and Kevin hopes to connect
with a professional theater near their
new home.
So what will be Limelight’s fate?
