Garden

a Beautiful
Guest Column By Karen Aitken-Bernosky
W
ith Spring in the air, you may be getting an urge to explore your creativity in
your garden, recharging a tired looking planting bed, or forging ahead with a
new project. Planning a garden can sometimes seem overwhelming. By think-
ing SMALL, perhaps biting off just one manageable corner of your property
at a time, you can feel rewarded this year by creating a magical garden space that meets your
time, space, and budget commitments.
Your garden goal might be to create a “Pollinator Garden” attracting bees, butterflies, and
hummingbirds. You may wish to loosen yourself up with a new garden patio for a summer
party, or you could just lose yourself in a cozy outdoor retreat.
