If you are inclined toward a project more ambitious than
a Do it Yourself garden, you may be in need of profes-
sional construction expertise. There are several fantastic
local landscape construction companies to call upon.
Seek references, and confi rm that your chosen Contractor
is licensed, bonded, and insured.
This year, I’m inspired to create new garden spaces
at my home. Two little gardens are on my mind. I’ll try
to build a Kitchen Garden and then what I call a Zen
Yoga Garden. I may be working backwards, because I’ve
dreamed of what kind of gardens I want before knowing
where I could build them. I’ve settled upon two relatively
flat corners at my place, which could comfortably contain
my two little gardens, planned to be just 20’x20’ each.
As I share my ideas and sketches for my little gardens,
I hope that you’ll be inspired to create your personal
corner of Paradise.
If you have time for nothing more than planting a tree
this Spring, you shall have accomplished a great thing.
