For over 25 years Donald has entertained the residents of south county with special appearances at birthday parties , anniversary parties , and other special events , including guest appearances in support of Gilroy ' s Memorial Day parade , the American Cancer Society ' s Gilroy Relay for Life , and surprise visits to cheer up many a sick child or adult . Donald ' s family owns and operates Victoria ' s Restaurant in Gilroy , recognized as one of the best Mexican restauants in the south bay area . The Poppy Jasper International Film Festival awarded Donald his Community Achievement Award that was planned for April 2021 on Thursday , July 9th in a drive-by presentation .

Community Achievement Award - Hollister : Ramiro Rodriguez - Owner : R & R labor , VP of Infinity Staffing , Owner : Crown Sanitation . The lifelong Hollister resident is a graduate of Hollister High School and San Diego State University . The Haybaler and Aztec supports the Kelly Frietas Memorial Tournament , established in 2011 in memory of San Benito County resident Kelly Alvernaz Freitas . Kelly passed away at the early age of 29 from an aggressive form of breast cancer .
