Meals for Heroes , Revenue for Restaurants
Creativity and Collaboration crushes the impact of C-19 as Gilroy Foundation , Downtown Gilroy Business Association , Morgan Hill Community Foundation and Morgan Hill Downtown Association joined forces to raise funds to purchase meals from restaurants in Morgan Hill and Gilroy . Meals are then delivered to medical staff at Saint Louise Regional Hosptial and Du Paul Health Center . Purchased meals provide much needed income for local eateries , and welcome meals for our healthcare workers who have been on the front lines of the pandemic since early 2020 . The program is the brainchild of Cecily Murray and was piloted by Morgan Hill Downtown Association . Partner agencies saw the value and impact of this great plan and jumped into action . The program started in Feb and provides meals Tues , Wed and Thursdays . Currently scheduled to run through April , and could run longer with your help .
