Spice Up Your Fall ...
WITH LIGHTED JARS !
Tips : Cover the work area with cardboard . Put all snow , sequins , and small beads in paper cups for easy pouring . Arrange decor in containers . Cut and glue three or four small pieces of cardboard together . Make several beforehand — these will be used to raise the center decor . Keep the glue gun away from small children . Dylan , age 13 , used the glue gun . An adult helped Elizabeth . White glue can be used but is not recommended as each step would need to dry overnight before assembly .
Step One : ( Below ) Glue stacked cardboard to the inside of the jar lid . This is a base , so the little pumpkin ( or other small decor ) is raised up in the center of the inside lid . Then , glue the pumpkin , toy , etc , to the stacked cardboard
Step Three : ( Right ) With the lights inside , pour a small amount of snow , beads , sequins , or filler of your choice into the jar .
Step Four : ( Below ) Screw on the lid . Turn the jar over so the lid is on the bottom . Turn on the lights . You have done a GREAT JOB !
Step Two : ( Left ) In the inverted jar , put in mini lights , leaving the switch outside of the jar .
Finished Project : ( Below ) Lighted jars provide beautiful and festive arrangements sure to help bring in the holiday spirit and spice up your Fall !
