The network for supporting art has grown tremendously over the past two years , Reynisson said .

A Gilroy arts roundtable was created in 2021 with the help of regional non-profit group SV Creates , whose mission is to “ elevate Silicon Valley ’ s creative culture .” What began with 12 people has grown to more than 75 artists and art advocates who meet monthly to look at needs , possible resources , and fundraising ideas .
“ The support is there . With everyone working together we ’ re starting to see that these projects can happen ,” Reynisson said .
Ganapathy agrees that Morgan Hill has just begun to scratch the surface of its public art offerings .
“ Public art is very powerful . It ’ s very thought provoking . It can bring pleasure . But it has so much scope and so much potential to do more ,” she said .
