Twenty Twenty Two ...

What we re reading , watching , following and listening to ... or ,

Some view the uncertainty of the times we ' re living in today as a pause in life , or " life on hold ." We view these times as an opportunity to invest in ourselves by refocusing on the things we ' ve been putting off — our mental health , exercise , personal growth , and spiritually , to name a few . A new year shouldn ' t mean " new you ." Instead , it should mean a better version of you . Whether its an online course , reading a book , listening to a podcast , or just taking time to chill out , we think its time to focus on our overall well-being . We encourage you to do the same . Develop the habit of investing in yourself . It will pay dividends your entire life . Alaska - by James Michener . Greg Bozzo recommend sthis read because of the depth of Michener ' s writing . He states , " I like his books because they often begin millions of years ago leading up to the 20th century . He weaves geography , animal science , botany , politics , human behavior and regional history into the narrative around interesting , multi-generational characters that leave the reader with a better understanding of the development and struggles from the part of the world represented in the story ."
In The Realm of Hungry Ghost - by Gabor Mate , MD . Local Chef Mark Segovia recommends Mate , citing his passion to help others and the love he has for humanity .
