Celebrate Spring on Two Wheels at the Annual Tierra Bella Bicycle Tour!

S pringtime in Santa Clara County means sunshine, wildflowers, and the joyful hum of bicycles rolling through some of the most scenic roads in our region.

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, the Almaden Cycle Touring Club( ACTC), celebrating its 50th Anniversary, invites riders of all ages and abilities to join the Annual Tierra Bella Bicycle Tour, a beloved community tradition that brings cyclists together to celebrate fitness, friendship, and fun.
Whether you’ re an experienced century rider seeking a challenging 100-mile adventure or a family looking to enjoy a beautiful 30-mile route through rolling countryside, there’ s a ride for you at Tierra Bella. Four well-marked routes; approximately 30, 50, 65, and 102 miles wind through the rural landscapes of Gilroy, San Martin, and Morgan Hill, offering options for every level of rider.

S tart your day at Gilroy’ s Christmas Hill Park and Gilroy High School, where early check-in( with coffee and nut breads!) sets the tone for a friendly, supportive ride ahead. Rest stops staffed by cheerful volunteers offer food and hydration, plus mechanical and SAG support along the way, making this ride not just scenic but safe and welcoming for newcomers and seasoned cyclists alike.

A unique feature of Tierra Bella is that your registration includes a trial membership to the Almaden Cycle Touring Club through May 31, 2026; a perfect way to keep the riding momentum going after the event. ACTC isn’ t just about this one ride; it’ s a year— round community of passionate cyclists offering daily group rides, conditioning training rides, social events, and more.
