The Latino Family Fund( LFF) is entering a pivotal new chapter. One that is marked by fresh board leadership, expanded community partnerships, and a deepened commitment to youth and parent engagement across South County. With the Youth in Philanthropy program now active in three GUSD middle schools and Gilroy High School, Latino Family Fund continues to cultivate emerging leaders while strengthening community involvement.
As a newly established 501( c)( 3), LFF has broadened its impact through grantgiving, scholarship programs, and active participation in regional coalitions focused on housing, health, and the unification of local organizations. Under the guidance of the Executive Director, Renee Garcia, the team consisting of current board members, Martha Martinez, Board Chair, Lupita Andrade, Vice President, Mayra Pelagio, Secretary, Zuky Cardenas, Treasurer, and Board Members, Rachel Perez, Patty Ramirez, Adam Flores, and Laura Geffre. With Past Board Chair, Veronica Guzman acting as a board advisor, they have prioritized long-term sustainability, building strong fiscal systems and program infrastructure, and are now turning their attention to strategic priorities for the coming year. Collectively, they are shaping a more connected, empowered, and engaged South County community.
