Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger sense of adventure. Some call me tiny. I prefer“ travelsized.” This is the story of how I led the Six-Pack on a glamping adventure worthy of a reality show.

It all started when Uncle Mike and Auntie Karyn drove all the way from Arizona to California to pick us up. That’ s commitment. They rolled into Gilroy on Wednesday and parked their big, beautiful RV at Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park. I supervised their arrival from a safe but visible distance. Security first.

That evening, we all had dinner together. The Six- Pack; Mom, Dad, Uncle Mark, Uncle Mike, Auntie Karyn, and soon-to join us, Auntie Annette,— laughed, talked, and planned the days ahead. I made my rounds, accepting compliments and making sure everyone understood that while the RV may have been Uncle Mike’ s, the trip was clearly mine.

Thursday morning came quickly. Uncle Mike and Auntie Karyn scooped up Mom, Dad, Uncle Mark, and me, and just like that— we hit the open road. I took my position by the window, ears perked, eyes scanning. The highway stretched on forever. Truly. Forever. I napped. I woke up. I napped again. Still driving.

Finally, we arrived at our first official overnight stop: Castaic Lake RV Park. The humans were starving.( I was mildly inconvenienced.) After settling in, we all walked to a taco truck nearby. The adults were very happy with their meals— lots of“ mmm” and“ this is so good!” Personally, I found the smells intoxicating. Did I receive a bite? That information is classified.

Friday morning began with the usual campground routine. The humans visited the facilities and took their showers. I, of course, maintained my natural fabulousness without assistance. We went for a walk before climbing back into the RV. I approved of the campground. Plenty of new scents. Excellent shrubbery.( Continued...)
