What ' sCookin ' with Roast Beef

Then it was back on the road again, headed to Palm Springs to pick up Auntie Annette and … Obi.
Now, Obi is Uncle Mark and Auntie Annette’ s furry baby. Very sweet. Very fluffy. Slightly unaware of how hierarchy works. The moment he hopped into the RV, I knew I needed to establish order. I gave him The Look. A quick sniff. A confident stance. Message delivered: I am in charge. He may be bigger, but leadership is about presence. And I have presence.
With the pack officially complete, we pointed the RV toward Arizona. The desert landscape rolled by as we made our way to Uncle Mike and Auntie Karyn’ s house. I watched the scenery change from green hills to wide-open spaces. Adventure level: expert.
Once we arrived, it was pure Six-Pack family time. We went for walks around the neighborhood, the warm Arizona air ruffling my perfectly styled fur. The adults cooked and shared great meals, laughing late into the evening. Uncle Mike handled the grill like a pro. Auntie Karyn kept everyone organized. Mom and Dad relaxed in a way that made me happy to see.
And then there was the hot tub.
Each night, the grown-ups slipped into the bubbling water while Obi and I stood guard nearby. We watched them carefully. Someone has to supervise. The steam rose into the desert sky, and the adults talked about memories, plans, and how much they loved this time together. Obi and I exchanged glances. We agreed the humans seemed content. Glamping, I have decided, is the perfect balance of adventure and comfort. I got new smells, new places, and plenty of attention. The Six-Pack got road trips, tacos, laughter, and time together.
As for me? I proved once again that you don’ t have to be a " big dog " to lead the pack. You just need confidence, excellent posture, and a name like Roast Beef.
