N othing says Spring more than baby birds and bright flowers and the awakening of nature. These construction paper birds are my design. I wanted something so easy and cute that any age can make them with simple supplies. Look at the pattern and make it larger.

It is a great project to make with your children and talk about the Spring season which embodies so much history, ancient myths of rebirth, agricultural celebrations of fertility all symbolizing renewal, growth, and new beginnings after winter ' s dormancy.
Children select colors and cut and paste and create little bright birds. Then they decorate the twig nests. These birds can decorate a table, or can be suspended from branches … use your imagination and have FUN!
