After a five-year hiatus, Leadership Gilroy hosted their Spring Fling fundraiser on May 30th at Hecker Pass Winery. The Legacy of Leadership Awards Brunch & Auction brought together local changemakers to support civic leadership programs. Guests enjoyed a delicious outdoor brunch. Local icons Sam Bozzo and Gene Sakahara, also known as“ SakaBozzo – Twins separated at birth” were honored for their enduring to the community. A live auction, a dessert auction, and a chance to connect with friends made for a great event. Morgan Hill Mayor Mark Turner did the emceeing, and Gilroy Mayor Greg Bozzo honored the“ twins” with a well delivered speech filled with funny stories, satire, and personal memories.
