Inclusive lessons for teens, adults, and elders of all abilities. The Hitch Team provides free group driving lessons for DreamPower volunteers.
Vaulting for Mental Health
Equestrian vaulting classes that build physical strength, confidence, and emotional resilience for children and teens ages 6 – 18.
Saddle Friends
A social and emotional skill-building riding group for children ages 9 – 11 with autism and / or ADHD, led by Dr. Cherie Page, PhD.
DreamPower Camp for Children with Special Needs
An annual one-week summer camp for children ages 5 – 16 with special needs.
Therapeutic Horseback Riding Lessons
Riding lessons for children age 5 and up with special needs; initial evaluation required.
Equine Empowerment for Elders
A weekly support group for elders with high-functioning dementia.
Plucky Ponies
A therapeutic group supporting children experiencing anxiety, led by Dr. Cherie Page, PhD.
Modern Abstract Pony Art
Acrylic-on-canvas abstract paintings created by the DreamPower horses, with auctions held twice each year.
The LEOS( Law Enforcement Officer Support) Project
Individual, group, and family counseling for law enforcement officers and their families.
Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers age 14 and up are invited to attend a monthly New Volunteer Orientation. High school, college, and community service hours are available.
Leadership 2 Partnership
Free ground-based horse-handling classes for current DreamPower volunteers, with beginner and advanced sessions offered throughout the week.
