HELPING HANDS & HEALING HEARTS
Community Solutions’ 16th Annual Helping Hands & Healing Hearts
luncheon was held on March 15th at the Morgan Hill Community
& Cultural Center. The Healing Heart Award was presented to a
former Community Solutions client who, after attempting suicide,
demonstrated incredible resilience, courage and dedication to
triumph over personal adversity and find hope for the future. Santa
Clara County Supervisor Cindy Chavez was presented with the
Helping Hand Award for her visionary leadership and advocacy
in improving the lives of South County residents, particularly for
those who are often unheard or overlooked. Proceeds benefitted
Community Solutions’ programs and services.
