City Beat Info at Your Fingertips T he City of Morgan is a great place to live, work, visit and operate businesses. Helpful and efficient City services help make this a reality. Recently the City completed a website refresh to better serve our varied constituents. Relaunched in September, morganhill. ca.gov features reorganized navigation options that guide site visitors to the latest information covering a range of interests and needs. Hot topic buttons link visitors directly to high-demand resources such as: City job openings, water bills, permits and licenses, swim lesson schedules, City Council agendas and minutes, reporting of public concerns, and engaging with the City. Easy navigation options guide residents and visitors to much more. Government: links to City Council, Commissions, community projects, each department, election resources and documents, the existing municipal code, and all adopted City Council ordinances and resolutions. Residents: information for new residents, animal services resources, bicycling re- sources, downtown businesses, housing options, and City news services. Businesses: a reorganized portal covering bids the City is seeking, licensing and permitting procedures, business programs, and profiles for demograph- ics, community and economic develop- ment. Parks & Recreation: direct links to swimming options, facility rentals for events; and details about public recre- ation facilities, parks, open spaces, the Senior Center and amenities. The City’s website is a foundational communication tool that serves a high volume of visitors. During the one- 58 By Maureen Tobin, Communications & Engagement Manager year period ending July 2019, the City’s website averaged nearly 28,000 unique visitors per month. The City is excit- ed to offer the refreshed site to better support residents, visitors, and businesses in finding the information they need. Visit morganhill.ca.gov today!
