Downtown Morgan Hill buzzes with fun energy as usual this season . Restaurants , shops , open-air markets , and a variety of events throughout the year are all ready and waiting for you .
Sidewalk Saturdays Looking for a one-of-a-kind gift ? Meeting up with friends for coffee or a stroll ? Needing simply to get out to a nice spot for a brief respite ? The City ’ s popular Sidewalk Saturdays are perfect for you .
While you are in the E . 3rd Street area , make plans to stop by the Morgan Hill Farmers ’ Market . It operates year-round on Saturdays at the Caltrain station parking lot , also from 9 a . m . to 1 p . m . Rain or shine you can pick up your favorite seasonal varieties , baked goods , and local farmers ’ products , such as honey , cheeses and sauces .
These Saturdays embody the “ Buy Local ” spirit with crafts and makers offering perfect gifts for every occasion . Started in 2020 to support home-based and small retail businesses through the pandemic , Sidewalk Saturdays is located on E . 3rd Street near the Caltrain station parking lot and continues every Saturday through Nov . 25 , 9 a . m . to 1 p . m .
Downtown Street Series Continues in October If you ’ ve wondered why Monterey Road in Downtown Morgan Hill has been periodically closed for an afternoon in recent months , it ’ s because of the many themed events taking place there throughout August and September .
The “ 4th Saturday Downtown Street Series ” is wrapping up on Saturday , Oct . 28 , with “ Kidz Fest and Safe Trick-or-Treat .” Join us on Monterey Road between Main Avenue and 4th Street , between 10 a . m . and 4 p . m . Families will enjoy games and Halloween-themed activities , plus Trick-or-Treating between 2 p . m . and 4 p . m . at local businesses . Later in the evening bring your lawn chairs and blankets to E . 3rd Street and watch a free outdoor showing of “ The Addams Family ” movie .

A twelve-week season occurs every Spring and Fall for a total of 24 weeks , and features approximately two dozen vendors showcasing a wide range of products , such as pottery , jewelry , handmade soaps and lotions , home décor and more .
