The City of Morgan Hill hosts fun community events that are an integral part of why so many people love to visit , live , and work in Morgan Hill . You have probably attended one or two or are making plans to attend one of the many coming up !

Want to get a glimpse of the scene around town ? The City ’ s Flickr page showcases all the best happenings ! Some City government-organized events are singular or short-term , while others span a season or happen annually . Get ready for fun !
October – December
Morgan Hill Haunt – Welcome to the City ’ s newest , spooky tradition ! Get creative as you out boo your neighbors for the ultimate Halloween home decorating bragging rights .
Sidewalk Saturdays – Morgan Hill ' s local , small-business retail market featuring handmade , crafted , and natural products . Partial street closures on 3rd and Depot Streets create a festival-like atmosphere ; come join the fun !
Senior Advisory Committee ’ s Monthly Lifelong Learning Programs – A monthly program designed by and for our 50 + community . It ' s all about discovery and camaraderie !
What ’ s on the horizon in 2025 ? Even more ! Some events are in early planning stages , and information will be widely shared once dates and details are confirmed .
• Youth Action Council ’ s Annual 50 + Ball , April 26 , 2025
• Art a la Carte organized by the Library , Culture , and Arts Commission ’ s ( LCAC ), May 4 , 2025
• Earth Day Festival , hosted by the Environmental Services team every April
• Morgan Hill Open Streets , Downtown street fair usually the second weekend in May
• Family Health & Wellness Resource Week usually in mid May
• Public Works Day has hands-on fun for kids , late May
• Pride Raising Flag Ceremony kicks of June ’ s Pride Month
• National Night Out , one of the City ’ s larger events that draws 2,000 + attendees , always the first Tuesday in August
• Second Chance Week every September : coordinated with the City of Gilroy , gives residents a chance to reduce , reuse , and recycle
• Morgan Hill Open Studios , an LCAC project coordinated with the Morgan Hill Community Foundation , local artists exhibitions
• Coastal CleanUp Day , an Environmental Services team event usually in mid to late September
• Clean Air Week , another great Environmental Services team event happens every late September / early October

You ’ ll find information about these events and many others that pop up throughout the year , such as Community Emergency Response Training ( CERT ), housing information sessions , Economic Development ’ s community meetings and symposiums , a range of adaptive programming held weekly and seasonal adaptive events .
