VFW Post 6309 Honor Guard presented our Nation ' s Colors to celebrate Gilroy Little League ' s opening ceremonies on Saturday , March 12 . It was a beautiful Spring afternoon at Christmas Hill Park . Hundreds of local kids enjoyed games , activities , food , and fun before parading into the Amphitheater for the official kick off to this year ' s baseball season . Not a mask in sight , just kids and parents enjoying the festivities and honoring our brave local heroes Al Alciati , Joe Muniz , Frank Perez , and Terri Marini , led by Capt . Jesse Sanchez .
