Things are heating up in the South Bay ! It has been a wild summer with plenty to do . Morgan Hill ’ s Friday Night Music Series rolls on thru August 18 at the Centennial Community Center Amphitheater . If you ’ re in Morgan Hill on a Friday night , you can ’ t miss it . 5:30-9:30 , the music starts at 6:00pm . Lots of food and family-friendly fun out there . Catch a concert while they last and support our amazing friends and event hosts , the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce . Hope to see you there !

Gilroy ’ s Downtown is rockin ’ too ! The Downtown Live Thursday night music series continues thru August 3 . The “ little town that could ” is shaking things up with great bands and lots of food and family fun available . Things get started at 5:00 and music starts at 7:00 . There ’ s plenty to keep you busy in between .
If you get down there , you have got to try our pal Richard Legend ’ s awesome beef jerky … from sweet and smooth to OMG hot , he ’ s got something for everyone . It ’ s called “ Executioner ” and you can sample all the flavors — if you dare . As hot as some of his jerky flavors are , we keep going back for more !
Plenty of other music happening around the South Bay ; Fortino Winery and Clos LaChance Summer music is rolling on , the Milias and Tempo in Gilroy have music many o ’ night per week , and things really ramp up on the weekends when our local wineries bring in artists playing everything from county music to old school R & B and of course , good ‘ ol rock and roll . Speaking of food ( hungry much , Mr . Publisher ?) Stop in at Cochi ’ s Kitchen in Morgan Hill for some great farm-to-table fare . Also check out his new place “ Local on Main ” for a small but mighty menu . We stopped in recently … you ’ ve just got to go . # greatfood . Looking for a gem in Gilroy ? Check out Café 152 Bread Co . on 4th and Eigleberry St . ( we pronounce it “ Eagle-berry ”). Right across from the post office . Stop in for coffee , sweets , sandwiches and more . Got a meeting , party , or surprise in-law visit ? Café 152 can deliver to your door . Need a place to meet ? Café 152 just might work for you . Plenty of seating , and did I mention the food ? Yup .
Still speaking of food , both Gilroy and Morgan Hill are kinda killin ’ it these days . So much to choose from , so many great options .
