Gourmet Alley Project : Trash Enclosure Prep Work is Almost Complete
All of the underground work for the trash enclosures and surrounding areas , including drainage , electrical , and irrigation , has been successfully completed . This week , crews were installing the posts for each of the three trash enclosures , and next week , they will begin pouring the concrete slabs , marking a significant step forward in the project .
Crews have completed the underground utility work on Railroad Alley and pavement rehabilitation work between Lewis Street and Hornlein Court is currently scheduled for Tuesday , June 11 through Thursday , June 13 . Railroad Alley will be closed during this work .

Free Meals Available to Youth and Gilroy and Morgan Hill Libraries
Gilroy and Morgan Hill Libraries will once again host the free meal program Lunch at the Library . Children ages 0-18 can enjoy these nutritious meals at the library Monday-Friday throughout the summer , with the exception of holidays .
Lunch at the Library begins at both locations on Monday , June 10 . No registration is necessary and meals are available while supplies last .
Following lunch , patrons are invited to stay for enrichment programming , such as arts & crafts , games and special presentations . Of course , children are also welcome to check out library materials with their free SCCLD library card .
