Mom and dad wanted to take a walk to the water . Oh , the water ! The wet sand felt different - cold and firm under my paws , making it perfect for running . I felt so free to run forever without caring about the world . Then mom wanted me to touch the water . It looked cold and a bit scary . I tiptoed closer but as soon as the waves touched my paws , I jumped back , startled by the cold sensation . It felt so strange and unexpected ! My parents encouraged me to explore , but I stayed close and only observed . The water is not for me ! Those waves are intriguing , but they make me nervous . Thank you very much , but I ’ ll stay here on the wet sand and run like a crazy fur-ball . water , water , water ... nooo !
At the beach , I met some new furry friends . There were so many dogs of all shapes and sizes . Most of them were big ! They moved quickly - chasing balls , running and playing in the sand , and sniffing each other . When they came up to me , I ran to mom to protect her . I wasn ’ t afraid for myself but I had to watch out for the parents ! So , I stayed close to mom and watched the dogs play . We stayed out of their way . a day at the beach is the best day ever !

H ello world ! Roast Beef here to share a day in the life of a 2-¼ lb . Teacup Yorkie . Recently , my parents took me on the most amazing adventure — my first trip to the beach !
From the moment we arrived I was overwhelmed by the incredible new smells . The salty breeze tickled my nose , mixing with the fresh scent of the ocean and the earthy aroma of the sand . It was so intoxicating that it made my little tail wag with excitement . My only thought was I needed to get out of mom ' s arms to get a better whiff of all these new smells .
As mom put me down and I stepped onto the sand . It felt strange under my paws . It was soft , warm , and cool all at once . It moved and shifted with every step I took . At first , I wasn ' t sure what to make of it , but soon , I found myself bouncing around , loving how my tiny paws sank into the cool , grainy surface .

Suddenly , I saw something soaring high above . It was a bird , unlike the ones I see in my backyard . This one was bigger , had white feathers , and was loud . The parents called it a seagull , and they were worried about it - unsure if it would carry me off . I barked one of my best barks at it and it flew away . I will protect the parents when I have to .

This was the best day ever . I love the beach ! I wish my parents would take me there every day . On June 22 , I will turn one year old . I ’ m hoping mom and dad will take me back to the beach to celebrate my birthday . If you happen to run into them - with or without me - make sure you ” suggest ” they take me to the beach for my birthday !
