COANIQUEM continued...
Following the COANIQUEM visit, the Morgan Hill group accompanied Dr. Rojas, his wife, Dr. Maria Esther
Rojas, and his son Dr. Jorge Rojas Goldsack, on a weekend visit to Santa Cruz in the Colchuagua Valley where they were further introduced to Chilean culture, food and wine. Mario Banuelos commented,“ It’ s great to make new friends when you travel. The Santa Cruz region in Chile felt like home as we explored its wine trail, which reminded us of our own in South County.”
Donald Larkin shared,“ Maria and I were deeply moved by the whole experience. We didn’ t know it before the trip, but COANIQUEM started less than a mile from where Maria was born. During our visit to Chile we learned that several family members were treated by Dr. Rojas at COANIQUEM. It’ s not an exaggeration to say that Dr. Rojas’ s compassion, kindness, empathy and dedication are known throughout Chile. He is an inspiration, and COANIQUEM is really something special.”
