Be grateful: Gratitude improves mood and relationships. The results are virtually instantaneous. Start with an attitude of gratitude!
B. Find Joy and Share It
In Chaos: Look for small moments of joy and peace, even in the midst of chaos. Spread kindness, calm, and care for others. There are silver linings in every situation.
Let Go: Forgiveness brings peace to you, not just others. Forgiving isn’ t forgetting or putting yourself in a similar situation. Don’ t wrestle with yourself about whether someone deserves forgiveness, it’ s yours to give and it liberates you more than you know. Forgiveness is the key to joy!
D. Ground Yourself
Find Your Space: Whether it’ s the beach, the mountains, or a quiet park, reconnect with nature and get off the pavement. You will be glad you did!
E. Control the Controllables
Let Go of What Your Can’ t Control: And the truth is: you can’ t control much. Focus energy on what you can influence, it starts with your reaction and attitude, and those closest to you— in proximity and in relationship.
