The Story of a Warrior and a Rock Snake

While we were out on our 6.5-mile walk, we noticed a painted rock snake along the pathway along Hecker Pass Hwy. At the head of the formation was a black and white sign that read " Kane Strong Rock Snake." This wasn ' t the first time we walked this path. However, it was the first time we noticed the rock and sign. I did some digging. The incredible story of Kane Carlin, the 6-year-old warrior who officially beat cancer this February and his parents and family, is inspiring and a true testament to the power of community, of family, and most of all, the grit of a little guy who stomped out cancer.
