The Gilroy Garlic Festival Association showed up big time at the 2023 Gilroy Rodeo , serving up garlic bread , scampi , pepper steak sandwiches , and tri-tip garlic fries . The Fest crew was a sight for sore eyes and the food was better than ever . We are looking forward to seeing more of the Garlic Festival Crew and Gourmet Alley in 2024 . Congratulations to Gilroy ' s Hampton Inn & Suites , recognized as the winner of the " Service Impact Award " for Q2 , from among over 2600 North American locations . The award was presented to General Manager Eric Gebhardt and staff by Tom Melanson , Director of Brand Hospitality and other Hilton dignitaries . Morgan Hill Unified School District ' s Michael Jochner , Dir . of Student Nutrition , and Maxim Banuelos , Lead Farmer at Ann Sobrato HS , are bringing wholesome nutrition to MHUSD through hydroponic vertical farming . Their project is inspiring and positively impactful .
