Amazing craft cocktails big enough to share ! Coconut Deep Fried Prawns Organic Tomato Bruchetta
was super clean and refreshing , and the Smokey Margarita was the perfect blend of smokey , sourness , and savory . Think of a typical margarita with a whole lotta attitude !
To pair these vibrant and tasty drinks Owners Vanessa and Pamela personally selected our appetizers including a gorgeously constructed Ahi Poke ( Fresh Ahi tuna , avocado , sesame seed , ginger , wasabi , pickled seaweed , fried wonton . Served with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables ). The Poke was a unanimous hit . We were delighted to share a beautifully crafted and tasty Bruschetta ( Organic tomato , basil , garlic , pesto , shaved Parmesan ), and we enjoyed a delicious serving of Coconut Deep Fried Prawns ( Sweet Thai chili sauce , warm Jicama slaw ). The Prawns were perfectly crunchy outside and tender inside . We all agreed that the apps were scrumptious . As we shared the appetizers and sipped our exotic drinks , we shared like good friends do — with fun and engaging conversation learning our passions and interests and enjoying plenty laughs along the way .
Before we knew it , “ the Mains ” were making their way to the table . With their extensive menu , we could have selected any dish and enjoyed it . However , we decided to go with Vanessa and Pamela ’ s recommendations for our main courses .
To the table came Rosy ’ s Garlic Prawns and Scallops ( Sautéed garlic , tomato , green onion , Chardonnay butter ), Seafood Paella ( Prawns , clams , calamari , fresh fish , chicken , sausage , peppers , leeks , saffron lobster broth , Spanish rice ), Grilled Seafood Summer Salad ( Organic mixed greens , tomato , sweet corn , crispy bacon , feta cheese , avocado , lemon thyme dressing ), and a plate-sized Ribeye Steak ( 14 oz . Ribeye served with vegetables and mashed potatoes , topped with chefs specialty peppercorn sauce and scampi on top ).
Sticking with the “ sharing is caring ” theme , we shared all the main courses and compared notes and opinions on each dish as we progressed through our dining experience .
The Garlic Prawns and Scallops were delightfully flavorful and tender . Abundantly served in a porcelain Au Gratin serving bowl , the flavor-filled butter chardonnay seasoned with garlic and other spices infused the scallops and prawns , giving them a delightful punch of flavor . Mixed veggies and mashed potatoes flanked the overflowing proteins to round out the plate . This is an enjoyable dish !
The Seafood Paella was loaded with a plethora of delectable seafood , chicken , sausage , peppers and leeks with a Spanish rice base and saffron broth . It was truly a delightful dish and enjoyed by all . Full of flavor , perfectly prepared , and a generous portion .
The Grilled Seafood Summer Salad was visually pleasing . It was masterfully crafted and presented with a modern art influenced flair . This was the “ kitchen sink ” of seafood salads and an epicurean delight . We all say , “ Try this dish !”
